I just stared with electric, put this on a midwest yak 54 flys great but motor makes a whining groan at 3/4 to full power occassionally, else with that problem

What timing Should it be set at on a 2cell? Mines on 'High', it was flying awesome, but Im now experiencing loss of power, and its nowhere near as powerfull as when I first started using it(2weeks ago)

I recently bought this motor and hooked it up with the turnigy 9g ESC for the first time today.
The mechanic of this motor seems to be very tight, its pretty hard to move it by hand (when off and disconnected).
When turning up the trottle it seems the ESC is not able to run the motor at low rpms, the first 20% of trottle only lead to the motor stuttering.
Is this behavior (that it is so thight) usual or should I be worried?
The only comparison I have is a FC 28-05. That motor moves much more freely when turned by hand.

I am Having the same problem. Checked
polarity of magnets,they ar all the same. Is that correct or should they
alternate.

I found that the ESC timing needs to be set to 'medium' for these motors to run well.
The Turnigy ESC's that I have came set to low timing, which made these motors stutter.
