Why idle current (2.9A) for this motor is so much bigger than for the previous size motor - SK 35-42 (1.7A)? And bigger than SK 42-50?
   avionero (60%)
This parameter represents the lost power in the iron. Is dificult to belive the difference beetwin this motors, I thing could be an error. This motor runs very well as all the Turnigy, to know this parametre please visit the follow site: ****adamone.rchomepage****/guide5.htm

when comparing it to a similar motor Great Planes Rimfire 35-48-1000 no-load 3A it seems quite right

personally I am using this item on a motor mounting by Great Planes but I am pretty sure Hobby King has this similar option on a lower cost.

I have a Beaver 25E. What prop size would be good with a 4000 3 cell 20c battery and a 60 amp controller.

Jeffrey (39%)
Is this motor 900kV or 1100kV? The title says 900kV but the "Product Config Table" says 1100kv. Which is right?
   magnusEl (80%)
The title is right, this is the 900 version.

Dragevo (79%)
Power rating went from 840 W to 770 W...?

Crashinbash (80%)
looks like a good alternative for a 500 heli. Anyone tried it or have an opinion?
   nickzz1 (43%)
not good for heli 500 700w of power too low you need 1200-1600w I try it and I had to gear very high pinion

Salvador (36%)
Hi all, I like this motor but I would need it to be mounted in front of the firewall and not behind it. Is there any reverse-mounting option (i.e., fixed side at the back, rotating side at the front) other than adding a firewall extension? Thanks!
   Beaufighter (-25%)
It comes with a propeller adapter for fitting the motor "reversed", so that it should be possible to mount it both ways.

PARLANT (36%)
is it possible to use SK35-48 with 10x7 or 10x8 fording prop at 11000-12000rpm (voltage 16V).
i found this résult with Drive calculator
   magnusEl (80%)
I think that is highly possible.
www dot bungymania dot com/imageshome/includes3/motorperf1.php?id=73

No data for 10x7 or 10x8, but 9900rpm with 12x6 APC E 47.80 A

Does the SK35-48 really have a 5mm shaft as the std 35-48 has a 4mm shaft?
   TriBum (86%)
Yes. Mine just arrived. It is black rather than the orange shown in the photo.
   Christian (43%)
Yes it has a 5mm shaft
   Gerry (32%)
Mine also came in black. Is this the same the the orange as shown in the photo?
   Domingos (34%)
   visioneer_one (19%)
Can someone post the actual length of this motor including the mount plate and prop drive?

I'm guessing those two items add an extra 12.5mm, but I'd like to be certain.
